- Show every selected AI task immediately with live checked and total counts
- Validate file identity and task activity with bounded concurrency
- Probe each provider source once and skip unnecessary activity checks when cleanup is unavailable
Fixes
- Allow compatible Codex alpha, beta, and release-candidate builds to use safe cleanup
- Keep real protocol probing, active-task protection, and file identity validation in place
Large cleanup reviews now remain informative while safety checks run, and compatible Codex prerelease builds are accepted based on the real official cleanup protocol instead of their version suffix alone.
